I think with the exception of JWT, most of the smaller guys like Ash and BS would tailor the chip to your setup. It's not exactly fine tuning, but it's more than using a plain "one size fits all" base model. Since these companies are going to ask what setup your're running, if they know that this is going on a benchmarking car they're probably going to give you a "hot" setup that skews the results a little.
